Gemma was created by Craigentinny Community Centre.
The Alma Project aims to improve the mental health and well-being of the inhabitants of Edinburgh and Lothians through the use of the arts as a therapeutic tool. Gemma the giraffe was inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s sunflower paintings.
Gemma is on display inside the library so please check the library opening times before you plan your visit!
