City of Edinburgh Council

Scotland’s Capital is widely regarded as one of the best cities in the world in which to live, work and study and the City of Edinburgh Council works hard to ensure that all residents can share in its vibrancy, opportunity and success.

The Council provides over 700 services that touch everyone’s lives: from bin collections and roads repairs to libraries and play parks; from early years and education to caring for our elderly and most vulnerable citizens.

“The arrival of the giraffes last year was a huge boost to Edinburgh Zoo and I know they’ve attracted fans in their droves ever since.

This imaginative art trail is sure to be a fantastic sight on the streets of the Capital, and I have no doubt it will prove every bit as popular, offering family-friendly fun and helping us all to rediscover and connect with different parts of our city.

I’m delighted that so many Edinburgh businesses and organisations have got behind the campaign, helping the Zoo to continue its vital conservation work, which helps to protect endangered species all over the world.”
